A putter's total swing weight comes from three sources working together: the head, the shaft, and the grip. Most putter fittings focus almost entirely on head weight, but a heavier counterbalance grip or a different shaft can shift the effective mass of the club just as much — sometimes more — without anyone weighing the finished result.
We weigh the complete assembled putter, not just the head, and check that total against your measured stroke tempo, so a change to one component doesn't quietly undo a fit that was already working.
